The Alumnae Panhellenic chapters of SCCAP are focused on helping young women excel by offering scholarships for high school, college and graduate students. Please feel free to contact any of our groups for more information about their scholarship programs.
Greater Long Beach Alumnae Panhellenic
GLBAP awards $500 and $1,000 scholarships each year to collegiate and alumnae students who live, or are going to school, in the Long Beach area and are active in their NPC-affiliated sororities.
The Collegian Scholarship is presented to undergraduates who have demonstrated excellence in academics, sorority activities, community involvement and other extracurricular pursuits. The Carol Jean “cj” Donovan Legacy of Philanthropy Scholarship is awarded to undergraduates who have performed a high level of community service as individuals and through their sororities. The Dorothy “Jan” Jones Alumna Scholarship is a new honor designed for students pursuing graduate studies who have remained active in their sororities through a local alumnae chapter.
The call for applications takes place in January. The winners receive their awards at the GLBAP annual Scholarship Banquet held in the spring. For more information, go to the GLBAP website.
